Fall To Do List.

Summer has always been my favorite season, but Fall is giving it a run for its money.  In an effort to get the most out of the time of year I started a mental checklist of the things that I want to do before the temperatures plummet to sub-zero chilliness bringing that awful thing we know as snow.

I tried to include Caleb in this list making, but after asking five times what he would like to add and his answer was "watch football" every time, I finally gave up and decided this was a list making was better completed on my own.

My list is pretty ambitious, but my philosophy always seems to be "Go Big or Go Home."

1. Visit a Pumpkin Patch
2. Make Pumpkin Pie
3. Make Chili
4. Drink Homemade Hot Cocoa snuggled up on the couch
5. Carve a Pumpkin
6. Decorate my apartment for Halloween
7. Walk through a Corn Maze
8. Make Wassill
9. Watch Hocus Pocus
10. Make homemade Slit Pea Soup
11. Go on a Fall Picnic
12. Watch "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"
13. Go on a Fall bike ride
14. Go to a Haunted House
15. Go to a chilly football game and snuggle up in a blanket
16. Play in the leaves
17. Visit an Apple Orchard
18. Visit the Covered Bridge Festival

You get the idea... in my head the list keeps on growing and growing...

Already I've visited a Pumpkin Patch with my Mama...

As well as drank hot cocoa snuggled on the couch and I made chili.  Most recently, just this afternoon, Caleb and I went on a Fall bike ride, played in the leaves, and enjoyed Split Pea Soup that he made in the Crock Pot.

Yes, I wore a helmet, but my head needed a breather!

As I keep rattling on about my list Caleb continually asks me why I feel the need to make lists.  I explained to him that I want to get the most out of the season as I can. "Bang for my buck" I guess you could say.  My favorite blogger's whole philosophy is to make the most out of life and all of the experiences that you have or create.  And who couldn't use a few more trips to apple orchards or opportunities to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the changing leaves?

How are you making the most out of Fall?
