Sometimes the simple things are (definitely) the best things.

And my Mama came from out of town to help me pack.  Oh, and we snuck in a lot of fun while she was here too!

And I will always love you...  Mama got a standing ovation at Thursday night karaoke.  :)

Spending precious time with precious friends...

And PROGRESS!!!!!  I'm getting closer.  I can't wait to be reunited with Caleb!  Its been over three weeks and I miss him.

It's been a good weekend.  I knew it was going to be a good weekend because at lunch on Friday my friend Kristy and I got free pieces of strawberry pie.  It could be said that once one is given a free piece of surprise strawberry pie, a wonderful weekend is sure to follow.

After the fortunate incident of free strawberry pie I spent the afternoon with my friend Dianna.  We walked the mall, got our eyebrows threaded (OUCH!), and proceeded to get pedicures.  All before finishing the evening with dinner at Scotty's Brewhouse.

Actually, we finished the evening with Berry Winkle ice cream.  A fantastic finale to Friday.

If you add in a trip to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning...

coffee and a muffin...

and a lovely wedding with a photo booth and carrot cake you can rest assured that our weekend has been lovely.

Sometimes the simple things are the best things.

And its not over yet.  Off to a winery with friends!
